Clifftop Wedding Phillip Island – Simon & Nikki were married at Clifftop on Phillip Island on 17 September 2016. Here are some words from the couple about their relationship and their big day.
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. We met at a mutual friends house.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. The proposal happened at the paps near Mansfield, which is a lookout point.
Simon took me up to the paps, hugged me and asked me to marry him. We were both happy and excited to get engaged.
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon? Please include dates of departure & return (dates are for our info only).
A. We are going to Hawaii, where we will stay for 3 days and then we will hop onto our cruise from Hawaii to Sydney.
Q. What are your future plans together?
A. We will be looking at starting a family and buying a house.
Q. Where is your ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. The ceremony and reception will both be held at Clifftop Boutique on Phillip island. We both wanted a beach destination wedding and clifftop suited our needs with accommodation, decor and location.
Q. Hair & Makeup – please describe what your hair and makeup is like and who the suppliers are.
A. Supplier for hair and make up is Ally from make up and body art.
Q. Who is the person conducting your service? (celebrant, minister, priest etc).
A. Celebrant- Sharon Pitchford
Q. Florist – what are your flowers like & who is the supplier?
A. No florist. Brooch bouquet.
Q. Wedding Favours & Cake – what are they like and who is the supplier?
A. Wedding favours are lollies to take home and our cake supplier is Elaine’s cakes. The cake will be a mixed dessert cake.
Q. Food & Drink – what are they like and who is the supplier if not venue?
A. Priors catering is the supplier and the food is a range of canapes. Chicken and Beef for the main meals and dessert is panna cotta and the mixed dessert wedding cake
