Luke & Stacey’s Katandra Gardens Wedding Phillip Island was held on 18th February 2017. Below is a little more information in the couples own words about their wedding day, their relationship and their future together:
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. First met out on the town in Phillip Island in 2010, Luke spent from Dec 2010 to October 2012 hassling Stacey to meet up, Stacey finally gave in after 2 years on the 17 April 2012 and they went on their first date at Crown Casino where Luke took Stacey to the black jack room (she was not impressed).
Stacey – he was funny, very caring and wanted to do anything and everything to impress me.
Luke – I liked that fact that she is awkward as anything and tries to cover it up with even more awkward laughter.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. In Gilli Islands in Bali.
Luke pretended to leave his t-shirt at one of their favourite Restaurant’s and went back to “get it” and paid the little Balinese man $100 to set up a tree top shack with flowers and hearts etc. for dinner time so he could come back and propose (was like a cubby house in the tree tops overlooking the crystal clear water & white sand where you can eat).
Both felt extremely happy and lucky. Stacey topped it off with a lot of nervous laughing before she said yes and Luke was just nervous knowing that he had to ask.
