Q. When and how did you meet and what were your first thoughts?
A. We met in 2008 while working at Dan Murphy’s in the refurb and new store setup team. It wasn’t until 2012 that we reconnected and our relationship began to grow. Steph thought that Anthony was a genuine, nice guy and a really hard worker with a good sense of humour. Anthony thought Steph was incredibly nice and approachable, friendly and fun.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place? How did you feel?
A. Anthony tried to disguise his proposal as a photography location scout. We went down to several locations around Phillip Island and the final one was Pyramid Rock. This was perfect as there was no one around and gave the perfect opportunity for the moment. Anthony who is usually very good and confident with his words was not on this occasion. Having a big speech prepared could only muster up the words “Steph I love you, you know how much you mean to me and I love you”. On one knee he pulled out a box and and asked Steph to marry him.
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. We have no plans to go on a honeymoon at the moment as we are hoping to buy some land in the near future.
Q. What are your future plans together (e.g. buying a house/starting a family)
A. After our Wedding, we’d like to focus on saving for some property, building our dream home and starting a family.
Q. Where is your phillip Island wedding ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. Our ceremony and reception is at The Shearing Shed on Phillip Island. We went for a dinner date there and fell in love straight away with the venue, we knew it was the only place we wanted to get married.
